Chinese Evergreen, or Aglaonema, is loved for its beautiful leaf colouring and easy-going nature. While many varieties have touches of silver on their rich green leaves, others have outlines in a vibrant red that nicely contrasts the green base of its foliage. This sturdy plant is a great choice for beginners because of its tolerance for various growing conditions. As it is a slow-growing plant, you don't have to worry about your Chinese Evergreen taking up too much space too quickly.
- Sun:
- This plant will tolerate low to medium light conditions; however, it will perform best with filtered or indirect sunlight. You would want to place it in a well-lit room with windows, but away from direct light.
- Water:
- Allow to slightly dry between thorough waterings. Irrigate when the top couple inches of soil are dry to touch.
