Also known as Japanese Aralia, this tropical plant makes a bold statement in any space due to its unique appearance. A hardy, upright plant with broad green leaves that stretch outwards, Fatsia plants can grow up to six feet tall indoors when cared for properly.
This plant likes medium to full shade and slightly acidic, compost-rich soil. It also grows well in large containers placed on shady patios or under trees. Though it is a tropical plant that likes warm weather, direct sunlight can damage its leaves.
- This plant performs well under low to medium light conditions. Place it in a room with a minimal light source or far from sunny windows, and it's good to go.
- Water often enough to keep the soil moist, but not soggy, at all times.
