Sempervivum
Hens and chicks are succulent plants, part of the Sempervivum group. They get their name because of their habit of propagating new baby plants. Hens & Chicks are incredibly easy to grow plants with a tolerance for poor soil and unwelcoming conditions. They are a winter-hardy perennial which means you can pant them in the ground and they will come back each Spring. Hens and Chicks come in a variety of textures and colours.
