The Parlour Palm is an attractive little plant that grows in clusters of thin fronds to resemble a miniature palm. Their charming appearance isn't the only reason the Parlour Palm is a desirable house or office plant, they are also adapted to relatively low light and are sensitive to too much water.
- This plant needs filtered or dappled sunlight. You would want to place it in a well-lit room with windows, but away from direct light. A sunny window with sheer curtains is also a good idea.
- This plant has medium or moderate water needs and requires watering once or twice a week. It needs moist soil throughout the growing season for optimum growth and flowering. Water this plant when the soil is dry to touch.
